Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights

Imagine yourself starring in a horror movie. Disheveled zombies and bloodthirsty werewolves attack you from all directions and there is no escape, or maybe creepy clowns chase you down a dark alley. You can experience this and more at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood. From Sept. 19 to Nov. 2, HHN is open every Thursday through Sunday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

This year HHN is inspired by The Walking Dead TV show. There is a Walking Dead themed maze, a Terror Tram invaded by the Walking Dead and the Walking Dead Scare Zone. The Walking Dead Terror Tram allows visitors to exit the regular Studio Tour Tram and enter the post-apocalyptic world of zombies and angry humans. Both the eerie zombies and paranoid humans hunt those brave enough to leave the tram through the studio lot.

In addition, there are seven new blood-curdling mazes this year inspired by frightening TV shows and movies. The most horrifying of these are Clowns 3D, a twisted interpretation of clowns selling ice cream and An American Werewolf in London, a suspenseful, hair-raising maze with multiple werewolves howling at the full moon. Others include Aliens vs. Predators, From Dusk till Dawn, Dracula and Face Off.

No one is safe in the park. Just walking from maze to maze, people will encounter the scare zones. Each of the five scare zones has a different theme and unnerving creatures lurking in the shadows waiting for the perfect opportunity to terrorize unsuspecting guests. From zombies to bloody party-goers, the scare zones will leave everyone screaming out of fear.

Halloween Horror Nights is an insane, petrifying event that you do not want to miss. So grab some friends and get in the Halloween spirit with one haunting night.
