Instead of tanning by the pool, heat up your summer nights with one of the following concerts located in the Los Angeles area.  

 

 

For fans of rap:

Rappers Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Miguel will be performing at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, June 29.  Anyone looking for a high-energy experience should not miss out on this show.

For fans of alternative:

Early 2000’s alternative band Fall Out Boy has reunited to play at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 13 to promote their new album, Save Rock and Roll.  For anyone in search of a good old-fashioned rock concert, this reunion tour is the perfect concert to fill your nostalgic desires.

For fans of electronic:

Alternative-electronic band The Postal Service is playing two nights in a row at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 23, and Wednesday, July 24.  The Postal Service’s relaxing, electronic melodies are sure to provide a unique experience for all who attend.

For fans of rock:

Classic rock band Fleetwood Mac is performing at the Staples Center on Wednesday, July 3.  The band will be showcasing two new songs, titled “Sad Angel” and “Without You.”  For any classic rock fan, witnessing the band’s debut of its new songs will definitely be an unforgettable night.

For fans of indie:

On Sunday, August 4, indie rock groups Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Sun Ra Arkestra and Oliver Mtukudzi will be performing together at the Hollywood Bowl.  This concert is ideal for anyone who would prefer to groove to calming melodies rather than dance to fast techno beats.
