The Carving Board

The Carving Board

If you are looking for a meal that is just as good as Grandma’s Thanksgiving stuffing, or better yet, outside of Calabasas, The Carving Board is here to help. After all, Corner Bakery cannot sustain your sandwich needs for- ever. When you are craving fla- vorful subs and refreshing salads, why settle for anything less than The Carving Board? The restau- rant will add flavor to your life and to your food.

This compact restaurant of- fers an abundance of flavors to its customers. After one visit to The Carving Board, you will dis- cover that meals are comprised of one-of-a-kind sandwiches, tasty grilled cheeses, crisp salads and savory burgers. Both fresh bread and melt-in-your-mouth cookies are served hot out of the oven, and quality ingredients are used in every meal. With freshly squeezed lemonade and sizzling potato chips that are prepared on the spot, The Carving Board pro- vides a variety of foods that will leave you craving for more.

The dessert menu features a rare treat: cotton candy. This goodie is not served at an amuse- ment park or from a baseball food vendor but rather from an over- flowing container stuffed with de- licious, sugary fluff. The Flavor of the Day tends to vary from or- ange-pineapple to blue-raspberry, and even sometimes strawberry- jalapeño! If cotton candy is not your style, the restaurant is also famous for its Deep Fried Delica- cies. This sugary special consists of two Twix Bars, two Oreos and a Snickers bar that are all fried in batter, and is then smothered with powdered sugar, chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

This lunch hotspot hopes to open seven or eight new res- taurants in the near future and possibly even one in Calabasas. Until they open another restau- rant, The Carving Board also runs on wheels with a food truck that serves five days a week for lunch all around town.

Branch out from local Cala- basas fads like Health Nut and experience something new at The Carving Board.
