When searching for the perfect Halloween costume, finding one can be very expensive and often times hard to find. This Halloween, make your own costume to guarantee a flawless ensemble. 

Cereal Killer

Instead of taking lives, take cereal boxes. All the materials you need may be found around the average household, making this creation easy and unique.

What you need:

*Mini, empty cereal boxes

*A t-shirt that you do not mind ruining

*Red paint

*Plastic or fake knives

*A hot glue gun

Steps:

1. Use a hot glue gun to glue all the cereal boxes to your shirt.

2. Put the plastic or fake knifes into the boxes.

3. Splatter red paint all over the shirt and boxes.

4. Your costume is now complete. Now you are able to give your victims breakfast for every meal of the day.

Smarty Pants

Who would have thought that wearing candy makes you smarter? Your outfit may take people a few seconds to realize what you are, but once they figure it out there is no doubt everyone will have appreciation for your imagination. The best part is, this is a costume you can eat or even add to your pile of trick-or-treat candy.

What you need:

* A lot of Smarties (the candy)

*A pair of pants

*A hot glue gun

Steps:

1. Glue the Smarties onto a pair of pants you do not mind ruining.

2. Find a colorful t-shirt to go along with your vibrant and sweet look.

3. If you are in the mood to go all out, feel free to glue the Smarties on the t-shirt as well.

4. Too bad Halloween is not a test because if it were, you would get an A+!

Audrey Hepburn (Breakfast at Tiffany’s)

Audrey Hepburn is quite the beauty. Her role in the romantic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a production that is filled with impeccable outfits.  For some girls, a chance to dress up like Audrey Hepburn is a dream come true. This Thursday, let this dream become a reality.

What you need:

*A simple black dress

*A pearl necklace

*A pair of gloves

*A mini tiara

*Red lipstick

*A stuffed animal cat

Steps:

1. Put your hair in a bun.

2. Grab your stuffed animal cat or real one if he or she is compliant.

3. Dress up in the rest of your clothing pieces, and prepare for a magical night out on the town.

Honey Boo Boo

If you love Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Alana Thompson, this costume is going to make you holler “Honey Boo Boo Child.” Pretending to be Honey Boo Boo is a corky way to stand out this Halloween.  You may have to buy a few necessities for this costume since not everyone has a pink tutu and a sash lying around.

What you need:

1. A pink shirt and a pink tutu or just a pink dress

2. A crown

3. A curling iron

4. A sash

Steps:

1. Curl your hair just like Honey Boo Boo and put on a crown.

2. Make a sash out of paper or fabric.

3. Put on your pink outfit with the sash to top it all off.

4. Feel free to hold a stuffed animal pig to represent Alana’s pig, Glitzy. She does not go anywhere without her!
