Who needs nail salons when you can design perfectly polished nails all on your own?  Senior Serena Flores certainly does not! Flores loves creating nail art that grabs the attention of others and shows off her creativity.  Nail art has become a huge trend over the past few years, and with practice and patience, Flores has become quite the nail art expert.  All of her nail art designs are original and perfect for any occasion.

“I will see a picture of a design and see if I can do it my own way,” said Flores.  “I’ve always been the artistic one in my family, so nail art is just something I do for fun.”

Flores tends to create designs that go along with the time of year or events in her life.  She has done detailed spider webs for Halloween, Minnie Mouse nails for her visit to Disneyland, snowflakes for winter time and, of course, hearts for Valentine’s Day.  When there is no special occasion going on, Flores simply enjoys creating stripes or zigzags on her nails.  She has always been very creative and loves coming up with new designs. Unlike many nail art icons, Flores does not use any fancy tools.  Instead, she simply uses paintbrushes and the tips of pens, making her creations original and truly handmade.

Nail art is a fun way for Flores to relax when she has extra time on her hands or when there is an upcoming event.  She likes that nail art is far more interesting than simply painting nails a solid color.  Flores has huge passion for nail art, and with creativity like hers, she nails it every time.
