SOVA
This Thanksgiving Break, volunteer at the Society of Volunteering Associates community food and resource program also known as the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles. SOVA depends on dedicated and compassionate people like you who are given the opportunity to help families and individuals that need it most. SOVA provides people with assets necessary for daily life such as groceries and/or toiletries. Cars wait in long lines just to find parking spots to drop off the groceries and necessities at the facility. “SOVA made me feel fortunate for the food that is available to me and empathy for those who do not have that privilege,” said sophomore Rebecca Bien. “I am happy I could be a part of it and help a family in need.” How could you pass up the amazing opportunity of helping our locals in need of resources? Volunteer and support the families in need!
