On Jan. 11, the Coyotes edged out a road win against Newbury Park, 2-1. Senior Jackson Shapiro scored a penalty kick within the first five minutes of the game. Newbury Park then scored an equalizer before Eugenio Elefante assisted the go-ahead goal to Yahav Arviv.
Later that week, the Coyotes had a 3-0 victory over Thousand Oaks, with Aidan Rothman scoring one and Arviv scoring two. Nick Waley and the Coyotes’ defense had their second shutout in four games.
The Coyotes go on the road again on Jan. 18 against Agoura, and again on Jan. 21 against Westlake.
