On Saturday, March 2, CHS students belonging to Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) participated in this year’s 2013 Gold Coast Section Leadership Conference. The competition, held at West Ranch High School, consisted of over 500 dedicated members from schools throughout the Gold Coast Region. Aside from the competition itself, there were many opportunities to network with other FBLA members and attend informative business seminars.
According to the official website www.fbla-pbla.org, the FBLA Mission is “to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs”.
FBLA recognized students who demonstrate strong understanding and skill in a variety of different business related areas. With hardwork and dedication, talented students were able to apply their expertise and knowledge of business during this year’s Conference.
Congratulations to all members who participated and dedicated their hard work and time! The results are fantastic and good luck to all those continuing on to the state competition!
