Students return to new admin, changing policies
On Wednesday, students walked through the gates of CHS to find many changes heading into the 2022-23 school year. In addition to an updated bell schedule and adjusted safety and attendance policies, students were greeted by an all-new administration.
With the four previous members of the administration team moving onto other positions this year, the new team includes Principal Amy Aviv, Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction Carina Diana, Assistant Principal of Student Services Miriam Worth and Assistant Principal of Safety, Facilities and Athletics Tyler Lee. Aviv is excited to welcome back the student body on behalf of the team.
“I want to support the school’s mission by creating a school environment where students feel excited about learning, excited to try new things, excited to thrive and ultimately have a blast in high school,” said Aviv. “Hopefully, we are in a post-COVID school year and create many wonderful memories that lead to many post high school opportunities. I am so excited and blessed to be here; it’s such a great community of students, staff and parents. Go Coyotes!”
