This past week, Calabasas went on the road against the Oaks Christian Lions and lost, 38-13. The Lions started off strong, leading to a 7-0 score. After a botched special teams place for the Coyotes on an attempted field goal, Oaks Christian took advantage and extended their lead to two touchdowns. Junior King Miller came back and scored on a 55-yard touchdown. After the referees missed a controversial false start call, the Lions scored a rushing touchdown to make the score 21-7. On the Coyotes’ next drive, the snap on the punt landed over the punter’s head and into the end zone for an Oaks Christan score. Miller led the way for another Coyotes score to make the score 28-13. The Calabasas defense shut down Oaks Christian for the entire last half with the rest of Oaks Christian’s scores coming from a pick-six and a field goal.

“The guys did a good job, they fought, they played hard to the end, and they tackled very well,” said Coach Harris.
