Jackson Shapiro wins Offensive MVP, highlights league honors for boys soccer
Senior midfielder Jackson Shapiro has won League Offensive MVP, and Evan Reifsnyder has won Coach of the Year in the Marmonte League.
This is the second year in a row that both Shapiro and Reifsnyder have won their respective awards.
“I’m really happy to win the award,” said Shapiro. “I was just trying to do everything I could to impact the game each night.”
Senior Mark Weider, senior Yahav Ariviv and junior Maxi Garnter represent the Coyotes on the All-First Team. Senior Nick Waley, senior Eugenio Elefante and junior Josh Gould all made the All-Second Team.
This is the third year that Waley has won an award, and the second year that Weider and Gould have won an award; Last year, Weider won League MVP, while Waley was First Team both his freshman and junior year. Josh Gould was All Second Team last season.
