Hi! My name is Ellina Ivanova, and I am a junior at Calabasas High school. This is my first year being a part of the Courier team, and I am excited to be a staff writer! I think that communication is the most important thing in our society. Journalism is the best communication factor that connects writers with their readers, that is why I always wanted to try journalism, and now I am finally here. Some facts about me: I moved from Russia to the United States at the beginning of my freshman year and, I have been playing tennis since I was seven.
