If you have not caught the disease already, watch out because the excitement of the season 3 premiere of AMC’s The Walking Dead is definitely contagious! The riveting action of the first two seasons peaked in the season 2 finale when the walkers burn Hershel’s farm, Shane becomes extremely violent, and Rick kills Shane. However, Rick’s secret knowledge is finally revealed when Shane, almost instantaneously, becomes a zombie…without ever being bitten! Evidently, everyone is already infected and a cure is not being developed anytime soon. As Rick takes control, a mysterious hooded person harbors zombie slaves. Who is this powerful slave master? What will Rick’s new tyrannical control mean for the fate of the group? This, and more, will surely be answered in season 3, premiering on Oct. 14. The Walking Dead’s invested audience, myself included, have been waiting for this moment for months. While the zombies are only satisfied by brains, we are only satisfied by more Walking Dead!
