“The movie is honestly super unpredictable,” said student viewer Isabella Rabani. “Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen next, something completely unexpected happened and totally changed the direction of the story. It made me nervous in a good way because I never knew what the characters were going to do.”
Another major strength in the film is the acting, especially from the actress who plays the housemaid. Her performance adds emotion and realism to the story, making viewers feel connected to her even when the situation becomes extreme. The role of Millie, the housemaid, is played by Sydney Sweeney. Amanda Seyfried plays the role of Nina, the mother of the household, while Brandon Skelnar plays the father, Andrew. Their younger daughter is played by Indiana Elle.
“Sydney Sweeney does an amazing job showing her emotions,” said junior Chloe Holt. “You can see the fear, confusion, and frustration on her face in every scene. It makes you really care about what happens to her, which makes the scary moments even more intense.”

“The house almost feels like another character,” said Rabani. “It looks fancy and perfect on the outside, but inside it’s full of lies, tension, and drama. The way the director uses the space really adds to the overall creepiness.”
As the film reaches the final act, the tension builds quickly, and everything escalates into an emotional and shocking ending that leaves viewers thinking.
“It’s the kind of ending you need to talk about afterward,” said Holt. “You just sit there stunned because you can’t believe what happened, and that’s what makes the movie so memorable.”
