New Additions Coming to the Malibu Country Mart
Shen Schulz

The Malibu Country Mart is a large outdoor mall located in Malibu, with high-end shopping, restaurants, and other services. The destination is right off the Pacific Coast Highway, and it has a mix of Spanish and Mediterranean architecture and covers around 85,000 square feet of land. Some of the shops include Chrome Hearts, Kith, Brandy Melville, etc. The country mart has recently added upscale shops and dining experiences and has more to come.

Madhappy is a clothing brand that opened March 21, 2026. The store has a very clean and modest look with exclusive Malibu drops. It has new colorways and limited collabs as well. Madhappy also has another location in West Hollywood.

LA Sculpt is a wellness-focused studio that emphasizes luxurious pilates and sculpt workouts. They offer heated and non-heated mat pilates, barre workouts, sculpt classes, and more. The store has a Malibu wellness aesthetic too with its coastal interiors as well as minimalistic colors. LA Sculpt opened in September of 2025, but went through major renovations, so they had a grand opening in February 2026.

Go Greek is a frozen yogurt shop that focuses on Mediterranean wellness lifestyles, with healthier options. Their yogurt has lower sugar options, probiotic enriched yogurt, and clean ingredients. Go Greek is opening in Malibu at The Park at Cross Creek, but the exact date has not been announced.

Megan Knudsen, a CHS sophomore said, “I am really excited to go to all these new stores because I think they all are interesting in their own way, and I am so excited to try Go Greek since it will be closer to me now.”

The Bunker Surf and Skate opened December 13, 2025 in Malibu. It’s an independently owned store that has luxury fashion brands, but still feels local. Their inventory includes surfboards, skateboards, beach gear, surf accessories, and more. The store has an old-school feel and is community-oriented while still carrying high-end products.

A sophomore from CHS, Olivia Wohlwend said, “I’m really excited about all the new shops. I go there a lot with my friends and right before summer break is perfect.”

The Malibu Country Mart is bringing new additions and is evolving into a lifestyle and wellness center. It combines fashion, food, art, and brings the Malibu community together.
