Walking down the lively boulevard of Abbot Kinney, the sun’s rays beat down on my face as I scan the neighboring storefronts displaying inspiring art, handmade t-shirts and unique galleries. I shade my eyes from the summer’s glare and peer through one window, while I take a look at this true work of art before me. The most refined black and white images shows a herd of elephants running in the savannah grasslands as lightening chases them from up above. At first I thought the artist photo-shopped this image, making it seem as though the scene, unreal to anyone, was most definitely a reality. After my many questions asked to the clerk, my wondrous state was settled and I learned these once-in-a-lifetime photographs were truly authentic. The G2 Gallery, located on Abbot Kinney in Venice, features beautiful images of fierce cheetahs sheltering their cubs and groups of zebras butting heads, as well as awe-inspiring landscape scenes and clouded land clearing in the California mountains. These original works of capture beauty will undoubtedly amaze all visitors eager to witness nature’s wonders. Even though the photograph may be hung on the G2 Gallery’s wall, it will feel as though you are right there in the savannah grasslands next to a mother giraffe caring to her young.
