Long-vacant Promenade mall to become Rams Village in 2035

Long-vacant Promenade mall to become Rams Village in 2035
LA Times

On April 7th, 2025 the Los Angeles Rams announced their $10 billion vision for developing a 52-acre “Rams Village” at the Warner Center, Woodland Hills, for practice facilities, headquarters, and entertainment. Such attractions include housing, two indoor performance venues and public spaces.

Before the Rams established their facilities and headquarters, the Warner Center was primarily known for the local shopping center called the Promenade, a popular spot for local residents in the valley. The Promenade had many attractions such as an AMC theater, retail stores, and restaurants. With a decline in businesses across all stores, the Promenade lost occupants and became practically abandoned by the 2010s. Soon after, the property was put up for sale. The land was purchased by a French commercial retail company in 2017 who, later sold  to Rams owner Stan Kroenke in March 2022.

This big project is nothing new to the Rams, having built and developed Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, regarded as one of best stadiums in the NFL. The Rams have continued to give back and stay involved in the community.

As part of the development, Warner Center residents will have four acres of accessible space and five and a half acres of added grass for the local community. Furthermore, the land will be developed responsibly by including sustainability features like solar power and recycled water.

Since the team’s return to Los Angeles in 2016, the Rams have dedicated over 5,000 hours in community service and development. Not only will it be a home for the Rams, but will also establish a community landmark and gathering spot in the San Fernando Valley. Construction is expected to start in 2027 and is projected to be finished in a decade.
